Sum Splash turns mental maths into a splashy reflex game. Fruits fly up the screen, each carrying a little sum like 4 + 6. Slice only the ones that make the target number and let the others fall. Rounds move from adding within 10 to adding within 20, then subtraction and times tables, so children build speed and confidence with number facts.
How to play
- A target number is shown at the top of the screen, for example "Make 10".
- Fruits are thrown up, each with a sum on it. Work out each sum in your head.
- Tap or swipe across a fruit if its answer equals the target. Leave the others alone.
- Slicing a wrong fruit, or letting a correct one fall, costs a heart. Slice enough correct fruits to finish the round.

Tips for learners
- Learn the number pairs that make 10 (1 + 9, 2 + 8, 3 + 7, 4 + 6, 5 + 5). They make bigger sums much easier.
- For subtraction, count up from the smaller number to the bigger one.
- Don't rush. A fruit at the top of its jump moves slowest and is easiest to tap.
- Times-table rounds start from round 4. Practise the 2, 5 and 10 tables first.
For parents and teachers
Sum Splash is part of Gamlet Learn, free learning games for children. It is designed for ages 6–10 and plays in short rounds that get gradually harder, with gentle feedback and a fact after each answer. There is no sign-up and we don't collect children's personal data. Scores are saved only on this device.
