Opposite Pairs is a memory card game that builds vocabulary. Flip two cards at a time to find words that are opposites, like big and small or early and late. Later rounds switch to synonyms, words that mean the same, like begin and start. It strengthens memory as well as word knowledge.
How to play
- All the cards start face down. Tap one, then another, to flip them.
- If the two words are a matching pair, they stay face up.
- If not, they flip back. Try to remember where each word was.
- Match every pair to finish the round. Fewer flips means more stars.

Tips for learners
- Say each word as you flip it. It's easier to remember.
- Start by flipping cards in a corner, and work across the grid.
- In synonym rounds, look for words that could swap places in a sentence.
- Coral cards and purple cards always pair with each other.
